Special events often comprise a complete cross-section of golfers. The range of players' ability may vary greatly; therefore, events must be staged with sensitivity to other players on the course. Our course is never closed to "open play" golfers if tee times are available following your special event. Everyone has the right to a round of golf in a reasonable amount of time, and tolerating an unnecessarily slow pace is not in anyone's best interest. We request your cooperation and support of all policies which this course may, from time to time, implement to keep play moving. Our starters and rangers are expected to be treated with respect and their instructions followed at all times.

Each foursome must maintain its tee time interval by keeping pace with the group ahead. We expect all foursomes to complete 18 holes in 4 hours, 30 minutes.

All outings are required to use golf cars. Cars will be assigned 30 minutes prior to a player's assigned tee time. Cars are to be returned to the golf shop parking area at the completion of a round. No golf cars are permitted to leave the line before their assigned tee time. Please observe all safety rules and report any mechanical problems to the staff.

A special event may be canceled the day of the event if the course is ruled too wet by the course superintendent. Event will be rescheduled; if rescheduling is impossible, a complete refund will be made of the greens fees and cart rentals.

If play starts and the first group of the special event has not reached the 9th hole when weather conditions close the course, all players will be allowed to return on a rescheduled date at no additional charge or given rain checks on a per hole basis for each hole not played. If the last group in a special event has completed the 9th hole when weather conditions close the course, the event will be scored on 9 holes only, and all players will be entitled to rain checks on a per hole basis for each hole not played.

This policy refers to greens fees and car rentals only, not food and beverage fees.

Groups are requested to arrive at least 60 minutes before their tee times. Please have two copies of your player list, listed in order of their tee times, to help the management staff in assigning carts and to assist the starter.

No person or group is allowed to bring coolers or beverages from off the premises without prior consent of management. All beverages must be purchased from Idle Creek Golf Course. We will provide beverage carts free of charge. Ice may be purchased from the course. Special arrangements must be made in advance for beverages and meals, using the Club's "Special Event Requirements" form.

As your host we welcome you to use our facilities; however, it is our policy not to serve alcohol to anyone under the age of 21, nor serve anyone who is, in our opinion, intoxicated. We encourage all groups to use alcoholic beverages in moderation.

All players are expected to wear appropriate golf attire. Shirts must be worn at all times on the Club's premises. No metal spikes will be allowed on the golf course, spikes will be available at the course and can be a changed by our staff for a moderate fee, which will be paid for by each golfer individually.

The course will not allow any golf merchandise to be brought onto the premises for use as prizes. All prizes brought to outings must be approved by golf course management before being brought. All such merchandise must be purchased from the course's golf shop only. Prize requirements should be specified on the "Special Event Requirements" form.

The course will be happy to accommodate your special event's contests (closest to the pin, longest drive, etc.) at no extra charge, and will provide scoring, if requested for no extra charge. These should be noted on the "Special Event Requirements" form.

Please sign and return the original of this agreement, retaining the duplicate for your records. Your signature indicates your understanding of, and agreement with, our policies and procedures.
